University of Nottingham Biomedical Sciences Degree’s New Look

Nottingham’s Biomedical Sciences degree content has changed to cater to future work employability whilst maintaining its aim to equip degree holders with the inquisitiveness and scientific knowledge as a medical scientist. New modules such as Core Skills provide a platform for sharpening presentation skills, team-working, resource-searching, data extraction and analysis, critical thinking, problem-solving and learnability tailor our degree holders to future career demands. Our new insight visits to industry and healthcare establishments bridge their learning and real life application.

Year 3 students visited the laboratory in Oncode Scientific Sdn. Bhd. to understand the work flow of pharmacogenetic testing.

However, the new curriculum retains many of its continuously updated scientific subjects which include some of the top 2018 QS ranking subjects; Human Physiology and Pharmacology.
