Annual Potluck & CNY Celebration

Potluck is an annual event of the School of Pharmacy, University of Nottingham Malaysia (UNM). All academics staffs and postgraduate (PG) students were invited to be part of the activity. This year our potluck recorded the highest number of participants as our school has the highest number of academics staffs and postgraduate students in the history. Apart from providing an opportunity to improve the networking between the academics and the PGs, potluck also allows everyone to take a short break from their hectic schedule.

During the potluck, Prof Ting, the head of school, announced that more funds will be allocated for the postgraduate students to run their activities. Besides, the academics and the postgraduate students also exchanged ideas on the ways to improve the school research outputs and suggestions to improve the teaching and learning within the school.

The next coming activity of the school will be the School of Pharmacy (SOP) Scientist Seminar (formerly known as the Journal Club), in which several postgraduate students will share on their latest research outputs or latest discovery in the life sciences or biopharmaceutical research. The seminar will be held during the Spring semester.

Last but not least, happy Chinese New Year and happy holiday to all.
