DataViz Challenge 2021:

The Data Visualization (DataViz) Challenge 2021, organized by the Faculty of Science and Engineering (FOSE), is to offer all secondary school students a platform that will enable them to gain a deep understanding of the developing area of data science, where Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics (STEAM) meet to address the issues raised by large-scale data analysis.

The DataViz Challenge requires students to create an infographic (information graphic) to help readers understand the impact of COVID-19 pandemic through the visualisation of data. This competition is open to ALL schools in Malaysia and students between 15 – 18 years old.

Each school is allowed to register up to a maximum of 3 teams. Each team should consist of 2-3 students. In the registration form, each student’s name, class, and email contact should be included.

Only ONE person in charge (school representative) can register for the school. This person in charge can either be the school principal, senior assistant curriculum, or a teacher from your school.

Deadline for student registration is on Monday, 6th September 2021 (11:59PM).

An e-certificate will be awarded to all participants.
