Favourite moments doing 2+2 MPharm

One of my fondest memories was in final year where I had the opportunity to work in a team. My team consists of students from the UK, Vietnam and Malaysia. The diverse cultural background and positive team dynamics had allowed me to know everyone at a personal level. This was especially important to me. In addition, I also had the opportunity to teach in a local primary school in the UK, which was nonetheless a rewarding experience. The genuine friendships built along the way had supported me through every stressful period of final year, drawing a satisfactory closure to my student life.

Tips for Year 1 student

If there was one thing that I could tell myself back in year 1, it would be this: utilise the resources you have access to. Ask questions, pick up a foreign language, read, talk to people and see the world. As students, one of the most valuable things you have is the flexibility to plan how you are going to spend your time. Invest your time in building genuine relationships and explore things beyond pharmacy that interest you.
