[Call for Abstracts] UNMC LINK ’17 PG Conference

Student-led Interdisciplinary Research Conference

The inaugural UNMC LINK ’17 is a research conference by postgraduate students, for postgraduate students. The goal of this conference is to empower postgraduate students to share and celebrate their research in a positive, constructive and collaborative space while facilitating the development of interdisciplinary connections and networks.

This conference will be held on 14 September 2017 in the Great Hall and is open to all postgraduate students of UNMC. Participants will have to present a 10-15 minutes presentation based on their current project and will be judged based on their content, style and clarity of presentation.

There are two awards:

  • Best Overall Presenter – PGT (Masters) ~ Cash prize of RM 1,000
  • Best Overall Presenter – PGR (MPhil & PhD) ~ Conference funding of RM 1,500

Interested? Then you need to submit the following:

  • An abstract of 250 words
  • Presentation title
  • Course details (please specify course title in full and year of study)

A specific theme will be assigned to your abstract in accordance to the categories identified by the organiser. You will be notified of the theme in due course.

Shortlisted applicants will be notified by 15 August 2017.
