Three Minute Thesis Competition (3MT®)

3MT® challenges research students to communicate the significance of their projects to a non-specialist audience in just three minutes. This competition aims to help research students to develop their academic, presentation and research communication skills.

UNMC LINK’17 PG Conference

UNMC LINK’17 is an inaugural student-led interdisciplinary research conference. It aims to empower postgraduate students to share and celebrate their research in a positive, constructive and collaborative space while facilitating the development of interdisciplinary connections and networks.

Science – PGR Student Conference Support Poster Competition 2017

The PGR Student Conference Support Poster Competition is an inaugural competition organised by the Faculty of Science PGR Committee. It aims for postgraduate research students of the Faculty of Science to create and present a poster that they would be proud to present at a reputable international conference.

Engineering – Postgraduate Research Showcase and Poster Competition

The Engineering Postgraduate Research Showcase and Poster Competition is an annual event organised by the Faculty of Engineering for its PGR students to showcase their research work and build networks as well as share experience with researchers across engineering disciplines.

Coffee and Cake

The Coffee and Cake session aims to reduce the social isolation among the postgraduate students and subsequently increase their sense of belonging within the postgraduate community on campus.
