Call for Participation: Photography Competition

Images of Postgraduate Experience

Can you creatively capture the essence of your postgraduate experience with just one photographic image and a short caption?

Stand a chance to win prizes worth RM1,200!

Our annual photography competition is back! It challenges postgraduate students to capture people’s interest and enthuse them about their postgraduate experience at University of Nottingham Malaysia (UNM).

Theme

Endgame

What is your ultimate goal out of the postgraduate course that you are doing? Who do you want to become? What do you want to produce and where do you want to end up in your career? What do you picture yourself as after you obtain your degree?

Photograph

The photograph must relate to the theme and your postgraduate experience at UNM. It must not be altered in any way and the faithful representation of what was captured at the time of the shot being taken must be maintained: sharpening and minimal cropping is allowed but digital adjustments of any kind if strictly prohibited. The photograph can be in colour or black and white.

Caption

The caption must be short and snappy: not more than 50 words, and explain why the image was chosen and how it relates to the theme. It must be written in plain English and jargon-free to ensure that the general audience can clearly understand it.

Submission

Submit your photographic image (in JPEG format) and entry form to graduateschool@nottingham.edu.my no later than 5pm on Friday 15 November 2019.
