Shut Up and Write!

The “Shut Up and Write!” programme is aimed to provide a platform for postgraduate researchers to work more productively and break the writer’s block in a supportive environment. This programme consists of six sessions (to be held on every consecutive Fridays); the first session was held on 29th May 2015 and will conclude on the 3rd July 2015. Each session is organised using the Pomodoro Technique, which is a time management technique used to break down work into timed intervals.

The concept of each session is basically just to literally “shut up and write”. It is entirely up to the participants on what to write. The participants may bring any resources or documents which are deemed useful for their writing. Each session is led by a facilitator who helps in assisting the participants in setting and achieving their writing goals.
