3rd Call: 3 Minute Thesis Competition
This post is for PhD students who have passed their first year confirmation review and it is posted on behalf of Dr Jiin Woei Lee and Dr Tissa Chandesa, Research Training Development Managers.
The University of Nottingham Malaysia (UNM) will hold its 2019 Three Minute Thesis Competition (3MT®) on Wed 26 Jun 2019 at the Great Hall. If you are: (1) A PhD student who have / would have passed their 1st year review by the time of the competition and (2) Interested or contemplating about being a competitor as a new or returning participant, you must attend the compulsory briefing on Monday 13 May 2019 at 2-4pm in H1B13. The briefing is important because it tells you about the basics, rules and other relevant details of the competition. Attending the briefing does not obligate you to become a confirmed competitor.
All competitors will receive certificates of participation. The prize winnings are as follow:
UNM 2019 3MT® Winner: RM 1500 and a plaque
UNM 2019 3MT® Runner Up: RM 1000 and a plaque
UNM 2019 3MT® Second Runner Up: RM 500 and a plaque

Activity: Submission of static Power Point (MUST be done in person and NOT via email)
