Winners of postgraduate photography competition

An extraordinary photo competition for postgraduate students

What does the current situation mean to our postgraduate students?

We recently organised a photo competition where we asked our postgraduate students the aforementioned question and they had to answer it by using only a photo with a caption.

In our previous blog post, we featured all the entries we received from our postgraduate students for sharing with the rest of our postgraduate community and wider audience. Through it, we were able to showcase all 12 entries which depict the subjects ranging from restriction and social distancing to online learning, civic responsibility to hope and positivity.

In her congratulatory message, Deepa wrote: “Well done to all the contestants and many congratulations to the winners! This photography competition gives us an interesting glimpse into how our postgraduate students are doing amid pandemic crisis and campus closure. The review panel was impressed with the creativity of our young researchers in depicting what these uncertain and unprecedented times meant to them through artistic form.”
