Our commitment to engaging with you through open conversations in more inclusive forums

Our town hall events are proving to be a highly valued forum to discuss how we work together to grow and develop our plans and strategies.

In our latest town hall, delivered in a hybrid mode through both online and face-to-face on Friday 25 November 2022, we gave an update bringing together a number of new developments featuring significant milestones in our evolving role supporting your postgraduate research journey. We also got to introduce the newly-elected Students’ Association (SA) Postgraduate Officer, Muhamad Hishamudin.

Questions and issues raised were stimulating and challenging. It was a good opportunity to reflect on the achievements made so far and even better, an opportunity to discern some constructive feedback for our continuous exercise of further improvement.

Your postgraduate experience remains a hugely important priority and while we have initiated ambitious endeavours and made progress, we recognise there is much to do. Our aim is to further enable a positive change in your postgraduate environment, here at the University.

A future series of town halls will be held where we will update you on our on-going progress and plans, and further get you involved as we value your thoughts and input which will help shape how we prioritise and achieve our ambitions for postgraduate excellence.

Our sincere thanks to all who participated in our town hall and your insightful responses will inform the next level of discussions on how we should refresh and renew our strategies.
