UNMC Research Showcase 2015 – Entries are Now Open!

The world wants to know how you are shaping the future!

Our annual Research Showcase is back!

The Research Showcase gives UNMC Postgraduate Research Students the chance to share their research with new audiences and tell the world about their work.

Entering the Research Showcase will give you the chance to:

• gain confidence in communicating your research
• develop effective communication and presentation skills
• network with other researchers and build your profile
• win one or even both cash prizes – the top prize is RM1,000

This year’s Research Showcase will be held on Friday 8^th May 2015 where the top 30 students will present their work, in a poster format, in front of a panel of judges as well as members of staff and student at UNMC. The top 5 will be selected to present, via video conference, to a further panel of judges on the UK campus and the top 1 selected from this group, will walk away with RM1,000 cash prize.

Entries are invited from Postgraduate Research Students (MRES, Mphil, Doctoral Students).

To show your interest in participating in the Research Showcase, all you have to do is submit a press releases, details on the flyer appended, explaining why your research is important to the wider community. If you have no experience, don’t worry – we are running press release training on Tuesday 17^th March 2015, 2pm @ H1B13. Please register your attendance at: http://moodle.nottingham.ac.uk/mod/tutorialbooking/view.php?id=764347. Press releases due by Tuesday 7^th April 2015.

Please email entries directly to amirah.zin@nottingham.edu.my. The top 30 will be notified and provided with support regarding poster design and presentation in advance of the 24th April poster submission deadline.
