Call for Applications: U21 PGR Travel Award
The application call for 2017/2018 Universitas 21 (U21) Travel Award is still open. This is a competitive award to support high quality doctoral students to develop their professional profile via a month long visit to any U21 universities (preferably a U21 university based in Australia).
Travel prize: £3,000
Application deadline: 7 February 2018 (midnight)
Call for Nominations: Postgraduate Prize Awards
The nomination call for our Postgraduate Prize Awards is still open. The awards recognise accomplishments in research, publications, conferences and contributions to the postgraduate community.
Each school is invited to nominate one postgraduate research student for the awards. All applications will be assessed by a panel and the successful students will be invited to a prize presentation event on 10 May 2018. Please approach your supervisor(s) and Head of School for support and advice.
Award prize: RM750
Nomination deadline: 28 February 2018 (noon)
Call for Applications: Postgraduate Teaching Assistant Award
The application call for our annual Postgraduate Teaching Assistant Award is now open to all postgraduate research students and research-only postdocs who teach. This award recognises and celebrates examples of innovative teaching and support of learning.
All applications will be assessed by a panel and the successful student will be invited to a prize presentation event on 10 May 2018.
Award prize: £100 voucher
Application deadline: 1 March 2018
Invitation: Chinese New Year Celebration
Our annual Chinese New Year Celebration for postgraduate students is scheduled for 7 February 2018 at 1pm in H1B12.
We welcome all our postgraduate students to join us in celebrating the festive occasion.
