Biomedical Sciences Society welcomes our latest BMS students
The journey of starting off fresh in the university is never easy, so to aid the integration process of the freshers of Biomedical Sciences undergraduates(class of 2018) into the exciting adventure in UNMC, BMed Society organised a much needed ice breaking event to foster a sense of belonging to the BMed community in UNMC.

An official warm welcome from the school with a marvellous lunch featuring all the lecturers from School of Biomedical Sciences commenced the day in a delightful manner. As for the ice breaking, a series of interactive activities were organised to enable juniors and seniors to interact with each other over fun activities and casual conversation. Activities ranging from “circle of friends”, “photo scavenger hunt”, and “fashion show” enabled juniors to “break the ice” between themselves and the seniors as the activities mandated social interaction and team working. Overall, students enjoyed the event and were looking forward to the next event coming up from BMed Society.
Fashion show showcases the creativity that we have to make a masterpiece with just newspapers and tapes. We are not that nerdy after all.
