PGR Research Publications

The researchers of School of Computer Science (Dr. ZhiYuan and Dr. Amr Ahmed) have published their postgraduate students’ research work. The detail is given as follows:

Dr Chen ZhiYuan has worked closely with PGR students to publish their research work in top journals and conferences. With Dr. Waleed Soliman (Master Student, who graduated in 2020) and together with several other authors, they published a research paper “Variational Autoencoders and Wasserstein Generative Adversarial Networks for Improving the Anti-Money Laundering Process” in IEEE Access. With Mr. Lim Wei Xiang (PhD Candidate) and together with the second supervisor, Dr Amr Ahmed, their research paper “Quantitative Interpretable Convolutional Neural Network to Diagnose Diabetic Retinopathy” has been accepted to be published by SPRINGER NATURE – Research Book Series: Transactions on Computational Science & Computational Intelligence. With Mr. Lee Soon Boon (Visiting Research Assistant) together with other research assistants, “The Study of Peer-Assessment Impact on Group Learning Activities” research paper has been accepted by the 17th International Conference on Frontiers in Education: Computer Science & Computer Engineering (FECS’21), July 26-29, 2021, USA.
