Careers Advisory Service Stays Connected Through Virtual Events
Covid-19 pandemic has changed the global landscape of countless sectors, including education. This pandemic has necessitated new ways of thinking and shifts in perspectives which resulted to the rise of online learning and virtual interaction.
Since the implementation of Movement Control Order (MCO) by the government has begun, Careers Advisory Service (CAS) has taken online engagement initiatives such as virtual careers events, virtual career advising and resume review, dissemination of opportunities and virtual careers fairs via social media platforms and email blast to support our students in developing their employability skills and understanding the current trend of job market. By hosting the virtual careers events, CAS has collaborated with reputable companies such as GSK, BP, Hays, IBM, Invest KL, CIMB, Westlake International School, Unilever, Keysight, Mondelez, Work Inspire and more, using the digital platforms such as Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Seeds, Webex and Dingtalk.
Going virtual has been seen as the “new normal” now, hence we look forward to engaging with you virtually more in the future (and offline, once the situation is getting better!). Let’s embrace the challenges with positivity, enhance your knowledge and harness your employability skill (and digital skill too) to be the best talent you can ever be in the working world. Stay safe! 🙂
