Careers e-Award 2019/2020: Get Ready Get Hired
Congratulations to all Get Ready Get Hired (GRGH) participants for the completion of the certificate programme!
Launched in 2019, Get Ready Get Hired Certificate Programme is a structured programme which aims to increase the self-awareness of students, train their job hunting skills and enhance their employability from their involvement in the activities of this programme.
This programme opens to all UNM undergraduate and postgraduate students. In order to complete this programme, the participants must undergo three (3) stages; Self-Discovery, Skills Enhancement and Practice.

The students can complete the Get Ready Get Hired programme and receive the Certificate during their time at the University of Nottingham Malaysia.

There is no sign-up deadline and they have until the 15th of April of their graduating year to complete the programme and receive the Certificate. For example, if a student is a first-year student starting your course in 2018, then she or he will have until 15 April 2021/2022 (depending on whether the course is three or four years long) to complete .

Aiming to celebrate the hard work, contribution and achievements of our students, Careers Advisory Service (CAS) organised its first Careers e-Award Ceremony with its theme “Embracing Excellence” through Microsoft Teams on July 1.
The ceremony started off with the opening speech by the Head of Careers Advisory Service, Ms. Alicia Ch’ng, and followed by ice-breaking games for some fun. Not only that, the students were given the opportunity to gain an insightful sharing on career journey from UNM alumnus, Emily Oi who currently works as a Senior Analyst Senior Analyst, Policy Studies at the Malaysian Green Technology and Climate Change Center.
