Invitation: 3 Minute Thesis Competition

This invitation is posted on behalf of Dr Jiin Woei Lee, Research Training Development Manager. 

An 80,000 word PhD thesis would take 9 hours to present. Their time limit… 3 minutes.

We are pleased to invite all staff and students to attend the Three Minute Thesis Competition (3MT^®) scheduled for Wednesday 5 September 2018 at 10.30am in the Great Hall.

3MT^® challenges research students to communicate the significance of their projects to a non-specialist audience in just three minutes. This competition cultivates students’ academic, presentation, and research communication skills.

Please come and support our PhD students and learn a thing or two about their research.
