Postgraduate Induction

Done virtually!

A video on Research Ethics and Integrity by Professor Dame Jessica Corner, Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Research & Knowledge Exchange) was shown during the Postgraduate Induction.

We went ahead with our Postgraduate Induction on Monday 30 March 2020 as we did not want to postpone it indefinitely in view of the many uncertainties with the current situation. The induction was intended for the new postgraduate research students and we wanted to provide an avenue for them to hear about how the Graduate School can support them with training and development opportunities. We wanted to let them hear about it now, and not later, as we did not want them to miss any crucial information at this early stage of their postgraduate research journey.

Originally planned to be conducted in a face-to-face setting, the induction was re-conceived for online delivery via Microsoft Teams. We are delighted to see a very interactive communication among peers.

More details to follow as we prepare to write a post about it. Stay tuned!

We would like to encourage all our postgraduate students to engage with PGSN.
