Your Place in the World – HELP International School Students Explore the University of Nottingham Malaysia
Students from HELP International School recently visited the University of Nottingham Malaysia to discover a world of endless possibilities and academic programs, which included a drop-by at the teaching laboratories and pharmacy practice room at the School of Pharmacy.
🧪 A Sneak Peek into Medicines: Engrossed in a hands-on workshop, these young minds dived into the intricate workings of medications, guided by Dr. Kok Zhi Yuan and Prof Lim Kuan Hon. Valuable insights into the vibrant pharmaceutical industry were gained.
💊 Captivating Dispensary Tour: Witnessing a simulated pharmacy model, the students gained firsthand experience of applying classroom learning to real-world scenarios. The basics of pharmacy practice have been discussed.
🌍 Curiosity Explored: Eagerly engaging with Dr. Kannan, these aspiring students explored the multifaceted roles of pharmacists in different settings, comparing practices between Malaysia and the UK.
🎯 Academic Pathways Unveiled: The School of Pharmacy introduced the students to a range of exciting programs, including Masters of Pharmacy which involves spending two years abroad in the UK campus, Bachelors of Pharmacy, Bachelors of Science in Biomedical Science, and Bachelors of Science in Pharmaceutical and Health Science (3 years).
