UNMC Research Showcase 2015 – Online Voting is Now Open!

The Research Showcase is an annual competition for postgraduate research students to display their research to their peers and members of staff of the University.

Interested participants were first required to submit a press release outlining their research work and why it is important to the wider community. 14 postgraduate researchers were shortlisted and they were provided with specialist training and support to help create their poster for the showcase which will be held on Friday 8^th May 2015, 9.30am to 12.30pm at H1B11.

During the showcase, the participants are required to present their poster and explain their research to the judges and general audience. The showcase aims to promote public engagement, open discussion and exchange views and opinions with a larger audience, who are not necessarily acquainted with the research topic or field.

All students and members of staff are welcome to meet the participants, view their poster, ask questions, discuss research ideas and vote for the best entry for People’s Choice Award. Alternatively, you can vote via an online voting platform at: https://jfe.qualtrics.com/form/SV_3rw1XUFvVESqJyl. Online voting closes on Friday 8^th May 2015 at 11am sharp.

5 finalists will be selected to further present their poster to a panel of judges from the UK Campus, via video conference on Friday 15^th May 2015. The best of these finalists will win RM1,000 cash prize.
