Celebrating achievement: UoN wins U21 3MT® People’s Choice

We are delighted to share news of a momentous achievement for our University in the Universitas21 (U21) Three Minute Thesis (3MT®) 2023 Competition.

The U21 3MT® competition gathers top doctoral students from around the world, challenging them to distill their thesis into a three-minute presentation that communicates the heart of their research to a global audience.

‌Diret Bitrus Tang’an, from our UK campus, has emerged victorious in the People’s Choice category with his presentation on utilising microwave heating to address petroleum contamination in the Niger Delta.

‌Congratulations to Diret for this well-deserved triumph, marking a proud moment for the entire UoN community!
