Past Event: UNMC Graduate School Hari Raya Open House 2016
In conjunction with the festive celebration of Hari Raya Aidilfitri or Eid Mubarak, the Graduate School recently held its annual Open House on Friday, 15th July 2016. Open House, known in Malaysia as Rumah Terbuka, is prevalent in the Malaysian culture especially during major festivals and celebrations.
The Open House started off with a welcoming speech by Ms Deepa Kumari Veerasingam, Head of Graduate School at UNMC. One of the postgraduate students also shared about the cultures of observing the holy month of Ramadhan and celebrating the Eid festivities at his home country.
The Open House saw a relatively big turnout of postgraduate students. Traditional Malay delicacies such as rendang, nasi impit, kuah kacang and some biscuits were served.

We would like to express our heartiest gratitute to all those who attended the Open House. Through it, we hope to promote and foster the spirit of unity and solidarity among the members of postgraduate community at UNMC.
