Invitation: Postgraduate Induction
Induction
We provide induction programmes that highlight the skills needed to be an effective researcher, as well as introducing you to the facilities and resources available to postgraduate researchers and how we can support you in your studies. The induction offers a great chance to meet other new postgraduate researchers as well as to network with senior research students over coffee and cake.
We will offer four induction programmes for this academic year which runs between February to October and the schedule are as follows:
- Friday 22 February 2019, 2pm – 3pm
- Tuesday 28 May 2019, 2pm – 3pm
- Friday 30 August 2019, 2pm -3pm
- Monday 30 September 2019, 10am – 4pm
Venue: Postgraduate Training Room, H1B13
*Light refreshments will be provided

| 2.45pm – 3pm | Session with Postgraduate Student Network (PGSN) |

Fancy a coffee with the Head of Graduate School? Come along to share your research experience, issues and ideas or if you have any Graduate School related questions.

Engage with us
As a postgraduate researcher, you may start your research degree at different times of the year. We send out a welcome email upon request to new postgraduate researchers which contains information about registering on Moodle, university support services and upcoming events as well as training and other opportunities. It is important that you check your university email address regularly as we use this for all Graduate School communications.
