Call for nominations: UNM Best Supervisor Award 2020
Overview
This award recognises exceptional performance and conduct in doctoral supervision. This year, the Graduate School is giving three Best Supervisor awards of RM750 each in prize money to be spent on research activities and personal development.
Eligibility
This award is open to all academic and research staff who can demonstrate sustained activity and interest in the supervision of doctoral students as a primary supervisor, and have at least 80% timely completion rate of doctoral students registered at UNM.
Definition: completion of doctoral degree on time = full-time is 4.5 years; part-time is 8.5 years
Nominations

Can only be done by academics. Each academic is only allowed to nominate ONE supervisor.

Must be supported with evidence of the supervisors’ dedication to the personal development and research accomplishment of doctoral students at UNM.

Self-nominations are strictly not accepted.

Submission
Fill up the nomination form to recommend a primary supervisor for the award and send it to RAD@nottingham.edu.my. The closing date is Friday 7 February 2020.
