The Conversation: Your needs are our priority
Discuss with us!
Postgraduate training programmes are offered to provide appropriate opportunities for doctoral students to develop their research, subject-specific, communication and other skills in order to become an effective researcher. It is the time of the year where we reflect on the evaluations and the training needs of our researchers to ensure our training plan supports your ongoing personal and professional development needs.
Following this we would like to have a consultation session with all the postgraduate research students to hear your suggestions and thoughts on your training needs. The primary focus of this session is to capture and understand the general and specific needs before we start planning our training schedule for the next academic year. We look forward to your engagement and feedback.
The session is scheduled for Thursday 6 August 2020 at 2pm – 3pm. Use this code to join the session in Microsoft Teams: hd3wuyx
Postgraduate Induction #3
This is an opportunity for all new postgraduate research students to hear about how we can support you with training and development opportunities. It features welcome talks and presentations by senior staff from the Graduate School introducing a range of support services, training programmes, public engagements and activities for postgraduate research students. It also features an introductory talk about Postgraduate Students’ Network (PGSN) by the Students’ Association (SA) Postgraduate Officer.
The induction is scheduled for Friday 7 August 2020 at 3pm – 4pm. Use this code to join the session in Microsoft Teams: booxq0d
