Call for nominations: Tri Campus Awards 2022

The nomination call for our annual Tri Campus Awards is now open

These prestigious awards celebrate outstanding postgraduate researchers, research supervisors and postdoctoral researchers across the University of Nottingham and recognise accomplishments in research, publications, conferences and contribution to the postgraduate and research community.

Closing date: Friday 18 March 2022

This year we are pleased to announce the addition of new award categories

The 2022 award categories are:

1. Postgraduate Award

Recognising accomplishments in research, publications, conferences and contribution to the postgraduate community. Nomination is done through HOS/HOD and each school/department can only nominate one postgraduate researcher. Postgraduate researchers can nominate themselves to HOS/HOD for consideration.

2. Outstanding Contribution to the Research Community [New]

Recognising the contributions that a postgraduate researcher or member of postdoctoral research staff has made to the University’s research community between January and December 2021.​​​​​​​

3. Most Supportive/Inclusive Research Team Environment [New]

Recognising team of researchers who have created an outstanding research environment. Nominated teams must include researchers at a range of career stages.​​​​​​​

4. Covid-19 Impact Award [New]

Recognising and celebrating outstanding contributions that postgraduate researcher or postdoctoral research staff has made during the Covid-19 pandemic. It is not limited to those who have undertaken direct research or service to address the Covid-19 effort.​​​​​​​

5. Outstanding Research Supervisor

Recognising and celebrating research supervisor who has created the most supportive, stimulating and inspirational research environment for postgraduate students.

6. Policy Impact and Public Engagement Award [New]

Recognising doctoral researcher or team of doctoral researchers who have actively used research to inform policy dialogues and influence public policy, through engaging with local or national government, or other relevant organisations or charitable sector, and further engaged public audience with research to generate mutual benefit. Public engagement activity can range from, outreach activities, to patient involvement, citizen science and collaborative research projects.​​​​​​​
