Our teams won 1st & 2nd prize at the Internet-of-Things & Hackathon (IoT-thon)
Congratulations to our teams for winning both the First Prize as well as the Second Prize at the finals of IOT-thon. Participating teams were from UM, USM, UTAR and, of course, UNMC.
In collaboration with University of Malaya (UM), Malaysia Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) and Iconix Consulting Sdn. Bhd., the first UM-MCMC IoT-thon was held on 9 – 10 December 2014 in UM Campus, Kuala Lumpur.
IOT-thon is an event in which students with different technical backgrounds and skill levels were given 30 hours, collaborating in teams around a problem or idea to code a unique solution for IoT systems from scratch.
First prize winning team : Cloud Chemical Sensor (Milk Tester)
