💡 9:45 AM – Welcome and introduction address: Be inspired by a short yet powerful speech from our Provost and CEO, Professor Sarah Metcalfe, as she epitomises the essence of 3MT® concept with her very own 3-minute speech.
🔍 9:50 AM – Opening remarks: Discover what’s in store for you, from an overview of the competition to an introduction of our esteemed judges.
🎤 10:00 AM – 3MT® presentations: Experience a whirlwind of ideas and innovations as our contestants share their research in rapid-fire presentations.

What is it about?
The Three Minute Thesis (3MT®) is an academic research competition developed by The University of Queensland (UQ), Australia. It challenges doctoral researchers to explain the complexity and relevance of their research to a non-specialist audience in a concise and engaging way.
