New Workshop: LaTeX for Researchers

A newly introduced workshop titled LaTeX for Researchers was held on 28th November 2016.

The inaugural workshop was delivered by Professor Graham Kendall and Dr Tissa Chandesa. The workshop saw a great turnout where participants filled the training room to capacity.

LaTeX is a document document preparation system for writing long documents and complex mathematical equations. It is an laternative word processor to the Microsoft Word. LaTeX makes writing long documents and complex mathematics equations easy. It also integrates easily with existing bibliography managers e.g. Mendeley and/or EndNote and/or BibTeX.

The offering of the workshop was part of our continuous effort to provide better support to all researchers on campus.
