Our commitment to your continuous training and research development
An update from your Graduate School
We have been monitoring updates on C0VID-19 closely and pursuant to the extension of the movement control order nationwide, we are continuing with our mission to deliver the highest quality training and development support for our postgraduate students and early career researchers, using a range of online platforms.
In our continuous effort to mitigate the impact of this closure period, taking into consideration of the possibility of further extension, we are reviewing how best to digitally hold our social events and public engagement activities. With our first successful trial of a virtual postgraduate induction, we are confident to strategically align our training and development provision with the changing environment. We are prioritising essential events and activities with a focus on transformative opportunities supporting key research areas.
We will continue to provide succinct updates on what we are doing to support our postgraduate students during this closure period, through our C0VID-19: Graduate School updates, twice weekly on Tuesday and Thursday.
Research update for postgraduate research students (PGRs) and research staff during C0VID-19
A message from Professor Deborah Hall, Vice Provost (Research and Knowledge Exchange)
**Updated** Managing any serious impacts on your research
**New** Exceptional regulations for PGRs
**Updated** Extensions to your period of registered study
The C0VID-19 Impact Statement is now available for download so that Principal Investigators and PGRs can start to record severe impacts on their research projects. This is essential for being in a good position to renegotiate Terms and Conditions of any affected Grant Agreements.
