Vice-Chancellor’s Medal 2017

The Vice-Chancellor’s Medal is awarded for exceptional achievement by staff or students in a particular area to advancing equality, diversity, and inclusion in university life. For instance, exceptional achievement by staff or students who have enhanced the reputation of the University of Nottingham, creating a noticeably positive impact on students, staff or the local community, or an individual achievement or sustained achievement over a period of time.

This year, during a farewell event for Professor Sir David Greenaway at the University of Nottingham Malaysia Campus (UNMC), a number of students and staff were announced as the recipients of the Vice-Chancellor’s Medal.

Congratulations to the students and staff who have received this year’s Vice-Chancellor Medal.

Students:

Arvind Jayaratnam – School of Economics (NSE)

Nagulendran Kangayakarusu – School of Environmental and Geographical Sciences (EGS)

Ong Jin Hui – Nottingham University Business School (NUBS)

Staff:

Dr Faye Siew Hui Chong, Assistant Professor – Chemical and Environmental Engineering

Chan Wen Li, Assistant Professor of Business Law – Nottingham University Business School Malaysia

Dr Hazel Melanie L Ramos, Associate Dean, Teaching and Learning – Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences/Associate Professor, Division of Industrial/Organisational Psychology.

Furthermore, special thanks were given to a few individuals and teams who had recently contributed to the University.
