Sneak Peek into Working World with NUBS Final Year Students

Got a plan for before or after graduating?

Wondering how the working world looks like?

On February 27, Careers Advisory Service organised a Coffee and Sandwich session with NUBS final year students which took place at HB14 for about an hour from 1pm to 2pm.

This session was an initiative for the final year students to mingle around with careers advisers and inquire on the preparations to enter the real working world. The Head of Careers Advisory Service, Ms. Alicia Ch’ng delivered presentation on certain topics such as:

  • Critical period: Peak graduates’ hiring month
  • Graduate job opportunities
  • What do graduates do, and more.

Besides that, she also shared her experience in certain areas such as recruiting especially expectations from hiring managers. The students enjoyed their refreshment while the session continued with Questions & Answers (Q&A) session. The fruitful discussion came to an end with the encouragement and well wishes for the final year students who will be graduating soon.
